Wonderful Four Nights
Something like a microtel hotel in that the rooms are small but it was cozy. Unlike many hotels I've stayed in, this room and hotel was nicely decorated. The Queen bed was clean and very comfortable. There were no defects like broken shower curtains etc. Never heard other patrons in other rooms. My room (106) looked as if it had just been decorated. No fridge but ice readily available down the hall. Modest continental breakfast available. Exterior doors were locked except for main reception during the day. Fantastic rate. Owned and operated by local Americans!

Our stay at Mt. Pleasant Inn and Suites was a delightful experience.
We stayed at the Mt.Pleasant Inn while visiting family in the area. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property. The staff was courteous and the price will have us coming back again. We loved having the free internet so we could catch up on our email. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience at the Inn. We highly recommend staying there and we will stay again on our next trip to Mt. Pleasant.

Great Value - Super Clean
I stayed at the Mt. Pleasant Inn And Suites while on a business trip. The rate was excellent which is typically what I look for when trying to keep my expense account to a minimum sometimes you don't have the greatest experience when buget is the key factor. This was NOT the case. The internet in the room was a huge plus as well as the TV with HBO. It was SUPER clean and the pillowtop mattress was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will deffinitely stay here again if given the oppertunity. It is really close to most of the chain restaraunts in town from what I could tell as well as the casino. It is a very easy on / off the 127 expressway as well.

In a word: Perfect!
The Mt Pleasant Inn & Suites is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it to family, friends and business colleagues alike. It's located next to the highway (but not too close), the rooms are super clean, and the staff are courteous and friendly. I especially like the close proximity to the casino, the university, as well as some of Mt. Pleasant's most popular restaurants. Keep up the great work!

This is the first time I've stayed at a Microtel, and I would stay at this one again. It was very clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's located right down the street from the casino. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and Meijer is located right down the street. The free breakfast was typical, but very much appreciated. I had a king, but next time I think I'll upgrade to a queen for a little more room.

Very pleased - enjoyed our stay.
We found the desk person to be very pleasant and helpful. The room was nice, the bathroom immaculate, the bed comfortable, and I wanted to take the pillows home. Their continental breakfast was also very good. We didn't have a single complaint, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

NICE Rooms GREAT Service!! GREAT, CARING STAFF!!!
I headed from Detroit to Mount Pleasant for a little fun at the casino. Thankfully I brought a bag just in case we decided to stay the night. Just as we approached Mount Pleasant we hit a horrible fog with no visibility so we stopped at the Microtel for a room for the night. We checked in and headed to the casino to have a little fun and make a little donation. We arrived back about 11:30 and settled down for the night. About 6 the next morning we awoke to an eerie silence in a pitch black room. I opened the curtains to find EVERYTHING dark. The wind was blowing fiercely and it had apparently caused the power failure. I headed down to the lobby and found out the whole city was without power, including the casino which was still open but running on emergency generators. I went back to my room and my husband and I got dressed and cleaned up as best as possible and headed back downstairs. I must say, they have beautiful stairwells at this site. The manager had just arrived back to the hotel with huge containers of coffee for all the guests. The breakfast bar was open, lit with flashlights and had sweetrolls, bread, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and milk. The staff did an amazing job of meeting the needs of the guests despite the unusual circumstances. I have stay there many times before and would not hesitate to stay again. It is clean, convenient, and reasonable and has a GREAT staff on top of it all.
